About Aurstream

Before you part with it,
know where you stand.

You may be sorting inherited coins, considering selling part of your holdings, or reviewing metals held in an IRA. You can begin by understanding what you hold, without deciding to sell. Aurstream serves owners of gold and silver bullion and coins, with an indicative range to help you consider a sale and a separate formal quote when you are ready to decide.

Our services include buyback and selective sales of personally held and IRA-held gold and silver bullion and coins.

  1. Describe what you hold.

Begin with the product, metal and number of pieces. Keep marked weight separate from quantity, and note anything you are unsure of.

  2. Understand the indicative range.

An indicative range is an estimate, not a formal quote. A formal quote states the exact amount, validity and terms before you decide.

  3. Decide on the formal quote.

Accepting a valid formal quote commits Aurstream to that amount. The remaining arrangements follow the needs of your holdings.

More about the process

Personally held & IRA

The arrangements
depend on
how you hold them.

Ownership shapes the practical details of a sale, including who is involved and where the proceeds go.

Personally held metals

Bullion and coins you own outside an IRA, whether you hold one product or several. Begin with the items and quantities you can identify.

Whether you are considering a smaller sale, making room for a move or reviewing what to keep, you can start with a defined selection.

About bullion & coins

Metals held in an IRA

In an IRA sale, proceeds go to the custodian-designated account, not to you personally.

About IRA-held metals

Before you decide

A few things
you may be
wondering.

Do I need to explain why I am considering a sale?

No. Whether you are raising funds for a purchase, responding to market changes or reconsidering what you hold, begin with the products and quantities. Personal circumstances are not required.

Would a request commit me to a sale?

A request begins a conversation rather than committing to a sale. An indicative range is separate from a formal quote.

What if I don’t know every detail?

Describe the metal, product and quantity you can identify. If a marking or specification is unclear, say so rather than guessing.

Can I include different coins and bars?

Yes. List each product separately where you can, with its quantity and any marked weight or purity. Keep the items you might sell separate from anything you intend to retain.

Where do proceeds from an IRA sale go?

In an IRA sale, proceeds go to the custodian-designated account. Selling the metals and taking a personal distribution are separate steps to discuss with your custodian.
